Alfa Romeo Giulia vs BMW 330i xDrive

If you're reading this, we know you care about getting a new high-performance luxury sedan. To help guide you in that decision, let's compare the Alfa Romeo Giulia to the BMW 330i xDrive to see which one comes out on top in terms of performance and safety features.

Driving the Alfa Romeo Giulia is truly an experience. Depress the accelerator of this high-performance sedan to feel the power that comes from the all-aluminum 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. With this engine, you will experience a pulse-pounding level of performance in the form of a best-in-class 280 horsepower and a best-in-class 306 pound-feet of torque. When you put the pedal to the metal, you can expect to go from zero to 60 miles per hour for a best-in-class time of 5.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 149 miles per hour.

Compared to the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the BMW 330i xDrive just doesn't live up to the hype. This BMW comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which can reach 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, lower than the one found in the Alfa Romeo Giulia. The BMW 330i xDrive's zero-to-60 time also falters compared to its superior Alfa Romeo counterpart, achieving 5.3 seconds compared to the Alfa Romeo Giulia's 5.1 seconds.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia has plenty of safety features that will help you stay safe on your cruises. With the following advanced features, you can rest easy knowing that your Alfa Romeo Giulia is watching your back at all times:

  • Traffic Sign Recognition
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Active Blind Spot Assist
  • Back Up Camera
  • Rear Park Sensors
  • Forward Collision Warning Plus

Unfortunately, the BMW 330i xDrive lacks many of these features that modern drivers may take for granted. The BMW 330i xDrive does have a Frontal Collision Warning, Automatic City Collision Mitigation and Braking, and a rear-view camera, but many of the other features in the Alfa Romeo Giulia seem to be missing.

Alfa Romeo Giulia vs Acura ILX

You deserve to enjoy your experience at the wheel, and there's no better way to do that than in a luxury sedan. At the top of the long list of options, you'll find the new Alfa Romeo Giulia! The sleek, stylish sedan option from the Alfa Romeo lineup, we'll help you see what it has to offer your drive and why it comes out on top against the new Acura ILX.

When you're looking for pure power and performance, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is like no other sedan. The impressive 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivers a pulse-pounding 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque - near the top in its class. Paired with available Q4 All-Wheel Drive and an available adaptive suspension, your drive won't be like anything else!

On the other side, the Acura ILX equips a 2.4-liter aluminum-alloy four-cylinder under the hood. It doesn't dominate the road nearly as well as the Giulia, making only 201 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The ILX won't handle quite as well without an adaptive suspension, and the lineup only offers front-wheel drive - off-road adventurers might be better looking for something with AWD.

Interior Experience

With a spacious passenger seating space and numerous technology features standard, the Alfa Romeo Giulia demonstrates why it's the ideal passenger sedan. The interior offers seating space for up to five passengers, with 95 cubic feet of space to stretch out in. All Alfa Romeo Giulia's feature a new 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is intuitive and offers customization options to match your preferences. All models also include Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, while an optional Harman/Kardon® 14-speaker sound system provides an immersive experience.

On the other side, the Acura ILX doesn't offer nearly the same comfortable experience. The interior passenger space fails to crack 90 cubic feet, making it feel more cramped than the Giulia. You'll also realize that the base model only comes standard with a five-inch screen, with an optional eight-inch available for Premium and A-Spec® packages. The lineup offers the same smartphone connectivity, but it won't be standard - you'll need to pay more for that as well.

Alfa Romeo Giulia vs Audi A4

Picking out your next sleek luxury sedan isn't always an easy choice to make. With so many options available around the Boston area, you might be overwhelmed. Luckily, we're here to help. Impressive models like the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the Audi A4 lead the charge with seating for five and exciting technology and amenities. But, which one is better for you? Take a look at our comparison down below and decide for yourself!

The Italian luxury sedan is in a class of its own, coming equipped with a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque - both best in its class. The Audi offers two engine configurations, both 2.0-liter turbocharged affairs, but neither comes close to matching what's under the hood of the Alfa Romeo Giulia. Operating as a true racecar, the Giulia also enjoys a class-best 149 mph top speed and 0-60 mph in 5.1-seconds. The Audi A4 falls behind, showing why Alfa Romeo knows what it takes to lead the pack!

Interior Comfort

Even for a sedan, the Alfa Romeo Giulia offers plenty of room for you and your passengers to find your perfect comfort level. With premium-quality seating surfaces and amenities that include power-adjustable front-row seats and heated options, there's no experience quite like the one in the new Giulia. While the Audi A4 does offer many of the same features, it's not quite as spacious! The Alfa Romeo offers more front-row headroom and legroom, as well as more rear-seat headroom - the Audi A4 will feel a bit tighter by comparison.

Safety Features

Both luxury cars are equipped with the latest respective technology for their lineups, making them adept at dealing with traffic and slippery road conditions. The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Audi A4 offer automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist, allowing you to drive anywhere you go with confidence. The Giulia also offers adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode - the A4 lacks this feature.
