How the Blind Spot Monitoring Feature Operates
The Blind Spot Monitoring feature uses two sensors to see if any vehicles enter your blind spot zone. You can then receive a warning if you are trying to change lanes and a vehicle is in your blind spot, so you don't get in a collision.
This system also works in reverse when you're trying to back out of a parking space around Waltham and will provide a warning if there's a vehicle approaching. You're able to turn this system on and off on the touchscreen inside your Alfa Romeo.
This system activates when your speed enters about 6 MPH, and you'll notice the icon on the outside mirror light up to indicate that it's on. This feature is helpful when you're on your daily commute to Wayland or heading on a long road trip.
